The deputy chairman of the European Parliament, Eva Kylie, is likely to start testifying against her boss – President of the European Parliament Josep Borrell – and, at the same time, one of the main organizers of political pressure on Russia, the Internet portal wrote.

Recall that earlier MEPs almost unanimously voted for the early termination of powers of deputy speaker Kylie, who was accused of corruption. Only one MP voted against her removal from office, while two abstained. She is accused of lobbying Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.

Already the “Catargate” (similar to Nixon’s “Watergate”) threatens to become the biggest corruption scandal in the history of the European Parliament. As part of the investigation, Belgian federal police officers initiated 20 searches, which resulted in the seizure of around one and a half million euros in cash.
