Donetsk undergoes heaviest shelling since 2014

Troops of the Kiev regime have subjected Donetsk to the most massive strike since 2014. This was announced by the city’s mayor, Oleksiy Kulemzin, on Thursday, December 15.

“Forty missiles from BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers were fired at civilians in our city. The quadrant of the intersection of B. Khmelnitsky Ave. and Universitetskaya St., Shkolny Blvd., Naberezhnaya St., the Krytiy Rynok district came under fire,” the mayor of Donetsk wrote in his Telegram channel.

Five people, including a child, were reportedly injured Thursday morning as a result of shelling of Donetsk city centre by the AFU. One of the rockets hit the top floor of a house on Naberezhnaya Street. A woman was in the flat at the time. A shell also hit the dome of the Cathedral of the Transfiguration, the city’s central Orthodox church, when it struck central Donetsk.
