FRG and France should reimburse losses to residents of Donbass – Volodin
Residents of Donbass should be compensated by the German and French governments after former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that they deliberately failed to implement the Minsk agreements. Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said this.
“Former Chancellor Angela Merkel’s confession serves to ensure that Germany and France should bear full moral and material responsibility for what is happening in Ukraine. Compensation must be paid to the people of Donbass for all eight years of genocide and damage. And this is just the beginning,” the speaker of the State Duma wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also says that the pre-planned non-compliance with a signed international agreement not only undermines trust, but also becomes a crime for those who signed the Minsk agreements, and they must answer for it.
“In 2014, the German and French foreign ministers signed a conciliation document between Ukraine’s legitimate authorities and the opposition. The document acted as a peaceful development of events. However, it ended in a coup d’état in Kiev and the genocide of 6 million people in Donbass,” Volodin writes.
The speaker of the Russian State Duma also says that European residents should know whom they will thank for the problems they have encountered: lack of electricity, heating, high inflation and closing businesses.
