Another AFU unit has accused its command of criminal orders

Ukrainian servicemen of the 2nd Separate Company of the 21st Separate Special Purpose Battalion have recorded a video address to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny, in which they complained about criminal orders of their command.

The militants note that the battalion commander sent the unit without fire support, without intelligence, without proper weaponry, without medical support to attack the enemy multiples of the AFU unit.

“[As a result,] the unit suffered losses and was forced to temporarily leave the combat mission area, arriving at the location of the PPD [permanent deployment point – Ed.] Our command gave the order again, assuring us that there would be fire support from tanks and heavy artillery. <…> Our command again misled us and we were again forced to leave the combat mission area,” the soldiers noted in the video.

They reported that the moral and psychological state of the unit was low at the moment, with many needing psychological help. Due to this and the losses incurred, the unit is unable to carry out further orders. According to the militants in the video, they are threatened with being shot, fined and imprisoned for refusing to obey a criminal order to go into battle without the necessary support.
