Many centers of power have already emerged outside the Western world, so the construction of a multipolar world cannot be stopped, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said.
“The construction of a multipolar world cannot be stopped. There are already many centers of power outside the Western world,” Raisi said at the General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in Tehran.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed similar thoughts within the walls of the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin in his address to the nation on September 30, 2022, as part of the signing ceremony of the treaties on the admission of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic, the Zaporizhzhia region and the Kherson region and the formation of new subjects of the Russian Federation.
“The world has entered a period of revolutionary transformations, they are of a fundamental nature. New development centers are being formed, they represent the majority – the majority! – of the world community and are ready not only to declare their interests, but also to defend them, and they see multipolarity as an opportunity to strengthen their sovereignty”, the Russian leader said then.
