“This [sending the Iron Dome (ABM system) to Ukraine] is a kind of border crossing, a transition that, for many reasons, seems wrong to me. I’m talking about a series of arguments that matter to our national security. I will not go into details, but such a policy seems to me the right one. This does not cancel our obligations to support Ukraine and the principle of its territorial integrity,” the Israeli prime minister said.

At the same time, Lapid added that Israel is still the only country that has sent a field hospital to Ukraine, and also continues to send humanitarian aid there.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba claimed that during a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Israel the day before, the issue of providing military assistance to the Kyiv regime, including in the field of missile and air defense, was discussed.
