The newspaper notes that last week the American president said that he had no plans to meet with Vladimir Putin yet, but this, according to him, depends on the situation. After that, the White House announced that the meeting of the leaders of the two states was not planned and was not being worked out at that time. Later, the Russian president said he saw no need to meet with the American leader.

Politico sources also noted that there are no plans to meet the presidents of Russia and the United States and, apparently, there will be no adjustments to these plans. At the same time, the newspaper writes, the White House apparatus is taking all possible measures to ensure that the Russian and American presidents at the summit do not somehow cross in the corridors or even in a group photo.

Nevertheless, the interlocutors of the publication admitted that the possibility of the presence of Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden at the general plenary meeting within the G20 cannot be ruled out.
