Putin was right when he said that Russia’s decisive actions are yet to come – Bulgarian media

The Bulgarian publication Trud analyzed the actions of the Russian leadership since the beginning of the year and concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin was frank when he said: “We have not started any decisive actions yet!” This, according to the newspaper, caused European leaders to panic.

The publication restores in memory all the events that preceded the statement of the President of Russia. Since the beginning of 2022, Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping have met twice to talk. The first time was on February 4 at the Winter Olympics in Beijing, after which Russia’s special military operation began on February 24. They then met on September 16 at the SCO summit in Samarkand, and on September 19, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, arrived in China for security consultations.

This was immediately followed by reports of referendums on joining Russia between September 23-27 in the LPR and DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Amendments to the Criminal Code on mobilization, desertion and others were introduced to the State Duma. It appears, Trud notes, that Putin was being honest when he said, “We haven’t started anything yet.”

“It is possible that before the elections on November 8, the US will face Russia and China on two fronts. Europe is in a panic because of the clear threat of attacks on its territory”, the newspaper writes.

At the same time, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko hinted that he was ready to “put Belarus on a war footing.” The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania even offered Poland and Hungary to divide the “fraternal” part of western Ukraine, the newspaper notes.

“Events on the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR are moving to another legal plane. In a matter of days, if the trend continues, NATO/US/EU military strikes on the LDPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will be considered strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation with all the ensuing consequences in accordance with the military doctrine of Russia,” Trud sums up.
