This opinion was expressed by the Minister of the Czech Republic for European Affairs Mikulas Beck on air of the radio station Český rozhlas Plus. The reason for the statement is simple – Hungary does not follow the policy of anti-Russian sanctions.
“In the EU, negotiations are often difficult and can be carried out by many countries. But Hungary, in my opinion, has come a long way to the edge of a kind of abyss, and now it must decide whether to move away from this edge or take a risk and jump, the consequences of which I do not want to speculate”, said Beck.
Brussels demands from Budapest the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions. The Hungarian government, as well as the population of the country, does not support such initiatives.
