“We must proceed from the fact that we can always continue to talk with everyone, especially with those with whom we disagree,” the head of state said at a meeting with French ambassadors.
At the same time, Macron noted that he does not agree that Turkey remains the only country in contact with Russia. This, in his opinion, is contrary to the interests of the French Republic.
“Who wants Turkey to be the only power in the world that continues to negotiate with Russia?” the French president asked.
