The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary said that the country banned the export of firewood
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary, Istvan Nagy, announced the entry into force of the previously announced government ban on the export of firewood from the country.
“It is forbidden to take firewood out of the country. In connection with the energy crisis caused by the war and the Brussels sanctions, the government imposes a ban on the export of energy products, including firewood. The government controls the export of firewood abroad, which is of strategic importance in terms of energy security, if necessary, it can limit it or take advantage of the pre-emptive right to purchase,” RIA Novosti quotes the minister.
