Russian Defense Minister Shoigu arrives in Istanbul to sign an agreement on the grain issue

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrived in Istanbul to sign an agreement on grain, Habertürk TV channel reports.

An agreement on the creation of a grain corridor for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine to Russia and Turkey via the Black Sea will be signed by Defense Ministers Sergei Shoigu and Hulusi Akar, Habertürk TV channel reported. On behalf of Ukraine, the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov will sign the document, the TRT television company reports.

The agreement signing ceremony will take place at 16:30 local time at the working office of the Turkish President in Istanbul’s Dolmabahce Palace. As planned, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General António will take part in it.
