The US and its allies will impose sanctions on Iran if it hands over the drones to Russia. This was stated during the briefing by the head of the press service of the State Department, Ned Price.
Earlier, the White House announced Iran’s plans to transfer several hundred unmanned aerial vehicles, including attack models, to Russia.
“We will continue to monitor the situation. All our sanctions remain in place. Any operation of this kind will result in a number of sanctions that we have in store, and also, presumably, a number of sanctions from other countries of the world”, Price said.
Recall that official Tehran denied reports of the transfer of Iranian drones to Russia.
