“The President and Prime Minister will sign a new joint declaration reaffirming the inextricable ties between our two countries and expanding the long-standing security relationship between the United States and Israel. This declaration is very significant and includes a commitment to never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, as well as [a promise] to fight Iran’s destabilizing activities, especially its threats against Israel,” the White House press service quoted TASS as saying.

It is reported that within the framework of the declaration, the parties will express support for the “Abraham Accords” on the normalization of relations between Israel and a number of Arab countries. Also, the press service of the White House noted that the issues of global challenges, mainly related to the risk of a food crisis in the world and the situation in Ukraine, will take center stage in the document.

It is noteworthy that when asked by a journalist about whether President Joe Biden would agitate Israel to send weapons to Ukraine, the official replied: “I will not go into specific forms of support.”
