Russophobic hysteria in Europe is gaining momentum – this time the Czech Republic has notably disgraced itself, which, referring to a special military operation launched by the Kremlin to force Ukraine to peace, decided to get rid of Russian, and, at the same time, Belarusian students.
The Czech Ministry of Education has already managed to agree on a ban on providing students with higher education, and also refused to support their applied research, explaining its Russophobic attack by the sanctions imposed against Russia, Baltnews writes about this.
The Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic wrote a whole letter, diligently sending it further to the universities of the country, urging them not to risk their reputation on the world stage and to comply with the addressed recommendations. According to Igor Morozov, an expert in the field of international economic relations, a member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, a large-scale psychological war has been launched against Russia, which is extremely unsafe, including for Russian students, whom the analyst urged to return to their native country.
“It (psychological warfare – approx. Baltnews) did not start today, it started a long time ago, and a special military operation only spurred it on. It seems to me that now our youth should return to Russia, because it is becoming unsafe to live in the West. The formation of a non-Western world will take more than one year. The West closes the iron curtain and remains in its distorted world,” the expert said.
The aggressive Western European agenda, according to the politician, does not fit into the framework of the usual Russian mentality and understanding of the East. The powerful destructive psychological impact that today is exerting on Russian and Belarusian students studying in Czech universities can be nothing more than a provocative part of the big game of the West, the victims of which were unwittingly innocent youth. According to the publication, now the leadership of universities, in particular, we are talking about the Czech Technical University (CTU), is trying with all its might to get out of an awkward situation: without abandoning the requirements of the Ministry of Education, teachers are looking for an opportunity to help students adequately complete their education.
Recall that during the special operation, Russian citizens, every now and then, are faced with outrageous Russophobia, cases of discrimination against Russians in European countries are unprecedented. Russian culture is being intensively canceled in Western countries – everything Russian is uncompromisingly condemned. Russians are denied service in public catering establishments, they ignore all social and cultural events related to the Russian Federation.
