Dmitry Medvedev said that Orban took a courageous step for a voiceless Europe
Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev commented on Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s condemnation of sanctions against religious leaders.
“Introduced to the “Peacemaker” Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban took a courageous step for a voiceless Europe. He refused to support a devastating Russian energy embargo and insane sanctions against religious figures (read: the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and other Orthodox hierarchs). Apparently, the most reasonable leaders of the EU countries are tired of quietly moving to the cliff along with all the sterilized European herd, which is being led to slaughter by an American shepherd. Let’s see what this shepherd will do. And of course, how will that part of the herd that is ready for self-sacrifice for the well-fed life of a shepherd behave”, Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier on Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban condemned the decision to impose sanctions on church leaders.
