Five European Union countries oppose imposing an embargo on gas and oil from Russia. This was stated by the Daily Express.
Hungary is at the head of this rebellion, Izvestia reports. The Prime Minister of the country Viktor Orban proposes to put their own interests first. The next tough sanctions against the Russian Federation will kill the EU states.
“Viktor Orban has broken the European order and led an uprising against EU sanctions as the bloc awaits tougher punishments against Russia,” foreign journalists wrote.
In addition to Hungary, Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands joined the rebellion. And even Germany is now beginning to gradually change its position. The Germans get 40% from Russia and they are afraid to be left without this fuel.
