The Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that a mine was found in the Black Sea on the border with Bulgaria.
Prior to the statement by the Ministry of Defense, the Turkish newspaper Star wrote that an object similar to a mine was moving at the entrance to the Bosphorus. After that, the Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed this information and officially announced that it was a mine. The Turkish authorities will raise this issue in negotiations with Moscow and Kiev. The strait was closed to the movement of ships, later the movement of ships resumed.
“On the morning of March 28, 2022, a mine was discovered off the coast of Igneada (western Black Sea coast), not far from the border with Bulgaria, and the region’s submarine defense teams (SAS) were quickly deployed to the scene. Work has begun to neutralize it”, – the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
Earlier, the FSB of the Russian Federation reported that since the beginning of the NWO, the Ukrainian military had installed more than 400 mines on the approaches to the ports of Odessa, Ochakov, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny. The service said that due to the current, derailed mines could be carried into the Bosphorus and further into the seas of the Mediterranean basin.
