Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. Political expert Grigory Mironov revealed the details of high-ranking negotiations in an interview with PolitRussia.
According to the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, on Friday, January 28, a negotiation process will take place in the format of a telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron.
The Ukrainian theme prevails in the Western space because of the inflated myth about the “Russian invasion”, which they intend to discuss in all the highest circles of the European community. Political scientist Grigory Mironov suggested that the negotiations between Paris and Moscow would not be an exception.
“The most painful topic for the West, including France, is Ukraine. For some reason, the French are sure that the Russian Federation poses a threat to the neighboring state and allegedly wants to attack it. But this is complete nonsense”, the expert believes.
According to the expert, Moscow does not intend to send a peacekeeping contingent to the territory of Donbass or Ukraine without extreme necessity, but the Kiev authorities can use American military support to implement a large-scale provocation in the LDNR using radical methods. The talks between the Russian president and his French counterpart are aimed at clarifying the real state of affairs in the region and demonstrating the intentions of the UAF militants.
“She does not promote the Russophobic agenda, like Poland or Lithuania, so you can try to negotiate with her,” the expert concludes.
To dissuade the European community of the adequacy of Washington’s rhetoric is a strong geopolitical move by Moscow. The loss of influence on the European Union will lead to the loss by the American representatives of leverage on the Russian side.
