Turkish leader Erdogan again announced his desire to mediate between Ukraine and Russia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has not yet abandoned his plans to intervene in relations between Russia and Ukraine and mediate in their dialogue.

So, he offered his country as a platform for a meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. This is reported by the edition “Strana.ua”, referring to the statement of the official representative of Erdogan, Ibrahim Kalyn.

“Turkey is ready to act in any role to reduce tension between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. President Erdogan is holding talks with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. In fact, he even invited both of them to come to Turkey if they want to meet and sort out their problems and differences,” Sabah reported him as saying.

In addition, he spoke about the plans of the Turkish President in the coming weeks to visit Ukraine and meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Zelensky. The topic of the future conversation has not yet been announced.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Erdogan is eager to intervene in Russia’s relations with Ukraine. He has several times offered to act as a mediator in relations between the two countries.
