“He has mastered the skill of forcing stronger powers to deal with him on his own terms,” the author wrote about Putin.
During his time as president, he managed to strengthen the position of Russia in all important areas. The armed forces were completely modernized, and the supply of oil and gas increased. One of the important successes can be considered the development of relations with many friendly countries. The media also said that Russia showed NATO that it would not allow it to continue expanding to the east.
