Czech diplomat offered Europe to arrange problems for Russia and declare a gas war

In Europe, they promised not to stand on ceremony with Russia and threatened with problems, according to RIA Novosti.

Václav Bartushka, Czech Special Plenipotentiary for Energy Security, believes that Europe needs to take a “tough consumer stance” on issues related to gas prices.

“For Russia, we are the largest gas consumer, the main customer. If they need problems in this largest market, they will have them”, the diplomat threatened.

In his opinion, the European Union should stop “standing on ceremony” with Moscow. Bartushka also noted that he believes that the reason for the crisis in Europe is the unwillingness of the supplying countries to the fact that the EU intends to completely switch to green energy and get rid of dependence on oil and gas.

The situation on the European gas market has sharply deteriorated in recent weeks, today prices have approached the historical mark – $ 1200 per thousand cubic meters. Experts attribute the onset of the crisis to several factors: the low level of occupancy of European underground gas storage facilities, limited supply from the main suppliers and high demand for LNG in Asia.
