Bloomberg: Erdogan would like to appeal to Putin with a request

At the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would like to ask him to help with the problem of Kurdish militias near the Turkish borders. Bloomberg reported this on Tuesday, citing sources.

According to him, Ankara would like Moscow to provide security for the Turkish military in the Syrian territories controlled by Russia. In particular, the Turkish authorities want the Kurdish formations of the People’s Self-Defense Forces to leave the cities of Manbij and Tell Rifat, in accordance with the agreements of Russia in Turkey in 2019.
