Expert opinion: in Europe, no one is afraid of threats from Kiev – and less than others Hungary

The senator commented on the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, who called the signing of a contract between Budapest and Gazprom as a blow from Hungary and said that Kiev would react “accordingly.”

“In Europe, no one is afraid of threats from Kiev – and less than others Hungary, which harshly criticizes Ukraine for the policy of suppressing the Hungarian language in Transcarpathia, for the law on indigenous peoples and not only for that,” Pushkov wrote in his telegram channel.

The politician noted that Budapest has already successfully blocked contacts between Ukraine and NATO and may not be limited to this.

“Ukraine has nothing to do with the contract between Russia and Hungary: it is simply obliged to fulfill it as a transit country, otherwise it will itself violate the terms of the contract with Gazprom. Ukraine has already bothered half of Europe with its scandals and claims, and its “corresponding” threats do not correspond to either the real weight or the capabilities of this poor country”, the senator summed up.
