An observer from France, deputy of the National Assembly Jerome Lambert said that the elections in Crimea were transparent, there were no obstacles to the expression of the will of citizens, RIA Novosti reported.
A group of foreign observers and experts from a number of countries, including France and Serbia, arrived in Crimea to observe the voting in the elections to the Russian State Duma. They visited the capital of the peninsula Sevastopol, Simferopol and Yalta.
“The electoral process is completely transparent, efficient and there are no obstacles to the expression of the will of citizens,” Lambert told reporters.
According to him, during the electoral process, a group of foreign observers noted that voters freely visited polling stations, the principle of confidentiality during voting was observed.
