Russia and Hungary reach agreement on long-term gas deal

Hungarian Foreign and Foreign Trade Minister Peter Szijjártó has confirmed the information about the agreement

According to RIA FAN citing Bloomberg, Russia has reached an agreement with Hungary on a long-term gas deal.

“Hungary will buy 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Russian suppliers on an annual basis. Deliveries from the Russian Federation will start on October 1 this year”, –  Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó said.

The conclusion of the long-term contract, according to experts, means that analysts assume a further rise in gas quotations.
