Israel launched a missile strike in southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a missile and bomb attack on targets in southern Lebanon. The Jerusalem Post reported.

The press service of the IDF noted that the Air Force attacked those areas from which yesterday rocket attacks on the Jewish state were carried out. It is noted that at least three attacks were made from Lebanese territory. One of the missiles fell during takeoff on the territory of the state itself.

“Attacks by the Israel Defense Forces will continue and even intensify in the face of terrorist threats against Israeli civilians,” the press service said after the rocket attacks.

Residents of the Jewish state reported the operation of air raid sirens near the Golan Heights on the Lebanese-Israeli border. In addition, the Iron Dome missile defense system was seen to be operating successfully, successfully intercepting several targets.
