Israel strikes ground targets in Lebanon

Israeli Air Force planes attacked ground targets in southern Lebanon in response to the launch of three missiles from the territory of an Arab state, reports TASS.

“In response to rocket attacks on Israeli territory, Israel Defense Forces fighters attacked launch sites and infrastructure facilities used for terror in Lebanon, from where the missiles were launched. An additional target was hit in the area from which the missiles were launched in the past”, the Israeli army press service said.

In turn, the command of the Lebanese army said that the Israeli Air Force fired more than 90 shells in the south of the country per day. It is also noted that the shelling did not lead to casualties among the civilian population, but significantly increased tensions on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
