The ship, operated by Zodiac Maritime, owned by Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer, was attacked by pirates on Friday night near Oman.
A statement released on the morning of July 30 said the ship was attacked northeast of the Omani island of Masira while sailing from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to the port of Fujairah, UAE. It is clarified that the ship belongs to a Japanese company, which is operated by Zodiac Maritime.
Details of the incident were not disclosed.
