Cuban foreign ministry reports attack on republic’s embassy in France

The head of the diplomatic office believes the US government is responsible for campaigns against Cuba “encouraging such behaviour and calling for impunity for violence”

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla said on Monday that unknown criminals attacked the Cuban embassy in France with Molotov cocktails.

“An act of terrorism using Molotov cocktails was committed against our embassy in Paris. We believe that the US government is responsible for the continuous campaigns against our country, encouraging such behaviour and calling for violence with impunity”, –  he wrote on Twitter.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the attack took place at 23:45 Paris time (00:45 Tuesday Moscow time), with a total of three Molotov cocktails thrown at the embassy grounds. Embassy staff were able to put out the fire. Firefighters and police are currently on the scene.
