In the Iranian province of Isfahan, an explosion occurred at a chemical plant, Reuters reports.
“The cause of the explosion at the chemical plant is being investigated, and nine of the injured have been transferred to the hospital”, – said Abbas Abedi, spokesman for the local emergency medical center.
On social networks, local residents note that the explosion was so strong that houses were shaking in the area of the chemical plant and people thought that a powerful earthquake had begun.
