Israel says ready to strike at Hamas leaders

Among those whom the Israeli army continues to pursue is the leader of the military wing of Hamas, Muhammad Deif.

According to Vesti.ua with reference to The Times of Israel, the Israeli army, the IDF, announced that it was ready to strike at the leaders of the Hamas group, despite the fact that a ceasefire was introduced.

The Israeli security cabinet voted late on May 20 to introduce a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This information was simultaneously reported by sources from the structures of the Israeli government and the negotiating circles of Egypt – the latter, we recall, initially tried to resolve the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Earlier today from Egypt it was reported that Hamas, in principle, agreed to a truce, however, it was emphasized that there are a number of details that still need to be worked out.

Hamas also said that the group agreed to a ceasefire with Israel as early as May 20.
