French backing Russia’s decision to put the US and Czech Republic on the list of unfriendly states

They also proposed to add several other countries to it

This is reported by RIA Novosti.

One reader wrote:
“Russia has finally made up its mind. It has finally realised that the US does not care about others and only thinks about its own interests and does not hesitate to apply economic and political sanctions…Moscow has shown the right initiative.”
A user with the nickname Ja9978 believes that the decision is fair. As US behaviour towards Russia over the last 15 years has been totally unfriendly.

Another commenter urged Moscow to stop calling these countries “unfriendly states”, as they are rather its real enemies, who, in his opinion, are only looking for a way to weaken it and “attack it head-on”.

Some readers found it necessary to expand the list.

“Only France and Poland are missing here!” said gauloisrefractaires.
Le Magicien noted that “we need to abandon the pro-NATO vision of things and admit that the US is hated all over the planet”.

“Bravo to Putin for not letting things slide like Macron does,” wrote LETITAN.

According to another user, Russia has managed to prove that sanctions are “not a one-way street”.

“The day will come when we will be begging the Russians to accept us into their homes,” Charlattend concluded.

Recall that the day before the Russian government approved a list of unfriendly states. So far, only two countries are on the list: the United States and the Czech Republic. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has explained that Moscow will not indiscriminately put any country on the list; the decision will be preceded by a thorough analysis. Moreover, according to Lavrov, it will not be a “dead paper”: the list will be revised as relations with any state develop.
