State Duma says claims for compensation for explosions in Vrbetica are absurd

Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma’s international affairs committee, said that Russia would not pay any compensation for its alleged involvement in the explosions at warehouses in Vrbetica. This is reported by TASS.

“Any demands of the Czech Republic against Russia to pay compensation for the far-fetched involvement of the Russian special services in the explosions at warehouses in Vrbetica, in the spirit of highly likely, are absurd. Nobody will pay any compensation”, – Slutsky said.

He noted that Prague should forward such demands to “the Washington curators who are behind the organization of this provocation”. Earlier on his YouTube channel, Slutskiy pointed out that the warehouse in the village of Vrbetitsa “stuffed with weapons, including prohibited ones, was not included in the national Czech register of dangerous objects and no one knew what was actually stored in it”.

Earlier it became known that the Czech authorities intend to demand from Russia compensation for losses caused by the explosion of military warehouses in Vrbetica in 2014.
