The leader of the Turkish Rodina party, Dogu Perincek, declared the need to recognize the independence of Cyprus, Crimea and Abkhazia. The Turkish politician suggested recognizing Crimea as Russian for the sake of countering NATO.
According to the chairman of the party, first of all, it is the question of the peninsula that should be solved. Otherwise, the military forces of the United States and NATO will be in the Black Sea, which Ankara does not want at all.
“Zelensky’s desire to start an adventurous war with Russia is calculated to ensure that NATO is located in the Black Sea”, – the politician said.
Perinchek also noted that “the Crimean people made their own choice in joining Russia. And we, as Turkey, must respect their choice. Crimea will never return to Ukraine”. Moreover, Ankara can effectively help the Crimean Tatars together with Moscow, and not with Kiev.
According to the party leader, Zelenskiy is making a big mistake by trusting the West. He is convinced that Washington “uses Ukraine and Greece as its puppets, and the Turkish side cannot calmly reckon with the activity of American dolls in the region”, as this threatens its security and friendly relations with its neighbors.
