The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell intends to go to Ukraine and visit the contact line in Donbass. This is reported by the European media, citing a source in the EU Council.
“EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell wants to travel to Ukraine and the contact line in Donbass to see what is happening there with his own eyes”, – the source said.
According to him, in the 13 months since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Borrell has already visited Ukraine twice, and there are still many places in the world where he should visit. The source also noted that Borrell does not intend to attend the Crimean Platform summit in August, which was initiated by the Ukrainian authorities.
