Russia counts on France’s support for the militarization of outer space
This statement was made by the Russian ambassador to France Alexei Meshkov.
“Moscow and Paris on the whole share the need to ensure the safety of space activities and their implementation in accordance with the norms of international law”, – the diplomat said.
According to him, we are talking about preventing an arms race in space and trying to turn it into a “new arena of confrontation.”
“We count on the support of these initiatives by Paris”, – Meshkov stated.
