Czech Republic refused to buy Indian vaccine, which was supplied to Ukraine

Prague told that the Indian version of AstraZeneca, known as CovidShield, was unreasonably expensive.

According to RIA Novosti, the Czech Republic did not purchase the AstraZeneca vaccine from India, which Ukraine is inoculated with – it considered it too expensive.

“Ukraine is ready to buy any vaccine, even at exorbitant prices, even if it is ineffective, as long as it is not Russian. The Czech Republic is an EU country with a per capita GDP more than twice that of the Ukrainian one, according to money. And poor Ukraine does not consider it”, – Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.
