Estonian MEP Riho Terras intends to hand over a letter to the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen with a proposal to dismiss the EU High Representative.
According to Evropeyskaya Pravda, Terrace began collecting signatures from MEPs in support of his letter over the weekend and asked later, by Monday, to let them know if they wanted to sign the letter.
“We now have over 20 supporters, including very important people”, – Terrace said Sunday night.
“This is a big political game and I’m just new to it. I hope that those who have a conscience and who understand that Josep Borrell’s visit to Moscow was a very big mistake and a complete failure of European diplomacy will join the letter”.
As reported, as a result of his trip to Moscow, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, admitted that it was unsuccessful and that Russia and Europe are increasingly moving away from each other.
