Turkey is ready for open military conflict with Haftar’s army in Libya

Earlier, the LNA commander demanded that Turkey leave Libyan territory, promising that otherwise she and her “mercenaries” would have to “feel the power of arms”.

According to TASS, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced on Sunday that Ankara is ready to return fire on supporters of the Libyan National Army (LNA) of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar in the event of an attack on the Turkish military.

“Haftar and those who support him should know that they will be considered a legitimate target in any attempt to attack the Turkish military”, – Akar said in a statement released by the defense ministry following the December 26 Turkish military delegation to Libya.

According to Akar, if an attack is made on the Turkish Armed Forces, the attackers “will no longer be able to find a place to hide”.

Meanwhile, on December 24, Haftar demanded that Turkey leave Libyan territory, promising that otherwise she and her “mercenaries” would have to “feel the power of arms”.
