Almost 70 police officers were injured in the riots in France

During the past protests in France, 67 gendarmes and police officers were injured. This was reported by Gerald Darmanen, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The demonstrators were against the “Global Security Act”. Large-scale protests in France are taking place for the second consecutive weekend.

“Final assessment yesterday: 95 detentions. There are 67 policemen and gendarmes among the victims, including 48 in Paris. I express my full support to them”, –  the minister wrote on Twitter.
