According to the Correspondent, in the French city of Breteny-sur-Orge, unknown persons entered the mosque by car. And then the intruders broke into the religious building and desecrated the prayer room there.
“On December 2, unknown persons knocked out the doors of the mosque on cars, after which they went inside, where they used a fire extinguisher”, – said the mayor of the city, Nicolas Meari.
France Bleu, citing a representative of the city’s Muslim association, reports that there were two suspects in vandalism. The mosque has been closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. No harm done.
