The Israeli Embassy does not yet have accurate information on technical issues related to the processes and delivery dates, but “work on them is underway”.
According to Interfax, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi said that Tel Aviv plans to purchase 1.5 million doses of the Russian coronavirus vaccine.
“As the management of the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem has already stated, they have a great interest in purchasing the Russian vaccine. We are talking about the supply of 1.5 million doses of vaccine after all the necessary tests and procedural issues in Israel have been resolved”, – Ben Zvi said.
The issue of joint production of the vaccine will be worked out by specialists, while there is no information on this matter, the ambassador said. According to him, the branch of the Hadassah Medical Center in Skolkovo is also involved in the development, helping the Russian side in clinical trials of the vaccine.
