Russia introduces retaliatory sanctions against employees of the German and French management structures

According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Moscow cannot rule out versions of Navalny being poisoned with a warfare agent either in Germany or on the boron of a German aircraft.

According to TASS, Russia is introducing mirror sanctions against representatives of German and French management structures in connection with the situation around Alexei Navalny. This was announced on Thursday by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Russian and foreign media on topical issues on the international agenda.

“Of course, there will be answers to the sanctions. Since the locomotive of these EU sanctions in connection with Navalny was Germany, as these sanctions directly affect senior officials in the Russian Presidential Administration, our response to the sanctions will be mirrored”, –  he said, – “They have already been adopted. We will soon inform our German and French colleagues about this. These sanctions will be imposed on senior staff of the German and French executive offices.”

According to the Minister, the Russian Federation cannot rule out versions of Navalny being poisoned with a warfare agent either in Germany or on the plane that took him to the Charite clinic in Berlin.
