The Prime Minister of Armenia, in his interview to the Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post, commented on the proposal of the Israeli authorities to provide humanitarian aid to Armenia.
Earlier, Armenia recalled its ambassador from Israel due to the sale of arms by this country to Azerbaijan. After that, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin offered Pashinyan humanitarian aid.
The Prime Minister of Armenia criticized Israel’s proposal to provide humanitarian aid to Yerevan. He offered to send it to “mercenaries and terrorists” whom, in his opinion, Israel provides with weapons.
“Humanitarian aid from a country that sells weapons to mercenaries that they use to strike at peaceful civilians? I offer Israel to send this assistance to mercenaries and terrorists as a logical continuation of its activities”, – Pashinyan replied to Rivlin’s proposal.
According to the Prime Minister, Israel is an active participant in the conflict, as “arming the country, which intends to carry out the Armenian genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh”.
It should be reminded that active battles on the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh began on September 27.
