An interesting scene is being staged – just as you mention that the French, with their “freedom of speech” and caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, are doing something wrong – as a storm of criticism immediately falls upon you, or even frankly fetid dirt from those who are used to counting themselves “the conscience of the nation”.
Like, what a scoundrel you are, you support medieval barbarism, justify a brutal murder! But no, gentlemen. I myself am against medieval obscurantism, and even more so against barbarism. You all, somehow, are very simplifying, even doubt creeps in, but are you so honest in your unconditional support for the “values of civilization”?
No, they are not completely honest. You, as before, are hypocrites and liars. And now I can prove it easily. Here, for example, is your favorite “freedom of speech”. You adore it so much. And these cartoons, which were published in Charlie Hebdo, and then shown by the French teacher to his class – this is the symbol of your “freedom of speech”.
The point is that you do not need this “freedom” in order to speak the truth. And you really don’t need it. You perceive freedom of speech as an opportunity to offend someone with impunity, to pour a tub of slops on someone. At the same time, you yourself hypocritically declare that “freedom of speech” implies the absence of those forbidden, that even one can and should ridicule absolutely everything that one wants. For example – Islam. But if someone just jokes about LGBT people, he will immediately be subjected to the most severe obstruction, figuratively speaking, literally burnt at the stake, as in the same Middle Ages that you love to poke with. It turns out that the barbarians you are, gentlemen. And given how you like to silence those with whom you disagree, is it worth talking about freedom of speech at all, which has turned for you into the most banal freedom to humiliate and insult?
What happened to the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo and the poor teacher is certainly atrocity. And yes – barbarity.
But be honest to the end – who did everything to ensure that this atrocity and barbarism was in France, which is so proud of its democratic history?
You did it yourself, with your hands. At first, you decided to export “freedom and democracy”, which sounded very good, but in the end turned out to be huge troubles for the countries that you decided to make happy. Iraq, Libya, Syria – you have brought innumerable calamities to the peoples of these countries and, at the same time, often used the services of terrorists. In general, you very often used terrorists for your own purposes and even supported them.
When the Caucasus was on fire in Russia, you called terrorists from all over the world who had come to Chechnya – rebels, freedom fighters. You called the terrorists in Syria “the moderate opposition”, which is fighting for freedom against the “tyrant Assad”. And you were not at all embarrassed by the terrorist attacks in Russia. All the same caricaturists from Charlie Hebdo drew funny pictures on this topic and they didn’t care that behind these events are the pain, grief and lives of a huge number of people. And when the “moderate opposition” cut off their heads in Syria, you simply pretended not to see this, continuing to repeat the mantras about how Assad tyrannizes his own population and how Putin’s pilots bombed a hundred thousand hospitals in Aleppo alone.
And just now I heard something wonderful. Viktor Shenderovich on the air of Echo of Moscow, called the guy who cut off the head of the French teacher – “Kadyrov’s man”.
I am literally shocked. The fact is that the parents of this guy are “political refugees” from Russia. That is, it is very likely that his parents wholeheartedly supported those against whom the “Kadyrovtsy” fought, the very terrorist rabble who gathered in Chechnya from all over the world and who were called “rebels” in “civilized countries”. Yes, and Viktor Shenderovich himself, too, probably was very worried about the bearded “freedom fighters”, such a trend was then among the liberal intelligentsia – do you remember how all human rights were worried when the federal troops ground up all this gangster scum? This little episode contains all the conscience and honor of the “liberal intelligentsia”.
And in Russia, this very intelligentsia is no different from the French. The same singer and main philosopher of liberalism, Bernard-Henri Levy, also got very excited when they cut off the teacher’s head, but for some reason completely forgot how he admired the same murderers when they cut their heads in their countries.
What happened in France is the most common karma, as it is now fashionable to say – a boomerang. You had a hand in the cultivation of this evil, you cherished and cherished it. And you fed it abundantly with human flesh. And now this monster that you raised has come to your home and began to devour you. And this monster does not care what you scream about freedom of speech and your civilizational values. Because he understands that all this is hypocrisy and lies.
