The Armenian Unified Information Center under the Government of Armenia reported that journalists are being taken to the Martouni City Hospital.
Two journalists from the French newspaper Le Monde were injured on Thursday as a result of shelling by Azerbaijani forces in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the Armenian Integrated Information Center under the Government of Armenia.
“In the town of Martuni two journalists of the newspaper Le Monde were wounded as a result of shelling by Azerbaijani forces. Both of them are French citizens and are currently being taken to the Martouni City Hospital”, – the information centre said.
According to his information, Aram Grigoryan, operator of the news block of Armenia TV channel, was slightly wounded as a result of shelling by Azerbaijani armed forces. The Armenian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that over 200 foreign journalists are currently in Armenia and Karabakh.
