Moldovan presidential candidate Renato Usatii said that the fugitive leader of the Moldovan democrats Vladimir Plahotniuc is in Turkey.
He claims that he fled to Turkey on 10 September. There Plahotniuc meets daily with various Moldovan politicians.
In addition, he has already tried several times to enter the EU. He could no longer stay in the United States.
Usatii himself justified his trip: he “wants to show the former PDM leader the way to the Moldovan prosecutor’s office”.
