Mustafa Adib refused to form a government.
As reported by the Al-Hadath TV channel, Lebanese Prime Minister Mustafa Adeeb on Saturday announced his refusal to form a government of the country and his resignation.
“I apologize for the fact that political blocs violated the agreement that I was striving for to form the cabinet. They did not move away from the politicization of the process”, – TASS quotes Adib’s statement after a meeting with President Michel Aoun.
At the same time, he pointed out the need to implement France’s initiatives to stabilize the situation in Lebanon.
