The area of Baghdad International Airport came under rocket fire. This was reported by the Al Sumaria TV channel, citing sources in Iraqi law enforcement agencies.
According to them, one rocket fell in the vicinity of the air harbor. No information has yet been reported on the consequences of this attack. Air-raid sirens went off after the shelling.
Earlier, on 6 September, Baghdad airport was fired upon by three rockets, one of which exploded in a parking lot in its civilian unit, damaging four vehicles.
